Good food! Good prices!
Friendly service and great corned beef hash!
I've lived in the US. from Boston to Seattle and this is the Best diner I've ever been to! I've eaten here a 100 times and didn't have one bite of something I didn't love! I don't care who's your mom, her cooking isn't better! This is Home cooking! Nancy & Robert are proprietors. She's the warmest host you'll ever meet. He's the master chef. Best breakfast I've ever had. Fri's all you can eat homemade battered fish sticks a foot long! I love these guys! ❤️
Dagwood scramble is the best! Never fails to satisfy, and fill my belly. I love good food and big meals. Cinnamon rolls are to die for!!
Old fashioned restaurant, not fancy but very tasty home style food including biscuits covered in pork sausage gravy. Takes me back to the 50's. Breakfast and lunch. Friendly, efficient service.
These days, with so many fast food joints, it's refreshing to find a traditional American diner with great service and delicious food. The menu features many appealing choices, and I opted for the breakfast special which was Peach Stuffed French Toast on that day. It was great and I felt stuffed too. Keep the coffee coming. It's good. There seemed to be a lot of local regulars and everyone was very friendly.
Great food, fast service. Nice Servers.
Always good food try the chicken fried steak it is Scrumdiddlyumptious...
Love the 'All you can eat' fish and chips! Hand battered pollock. It's delicious!
Attentive and friendly. Flavors were spot on...
The food and waitresses are worthier of 5 stars. I give it 4 because of my own judgy issues (nothing to do with anyone that works or eats there)...
Another great little restaurant. Family and vet friendly. We try to eat here at least once every time we come down.
Great service, food was ok.
The staff is always very nice, helpful, and personable. The food is also delicious!
Grants Pass isn't exactly a small town, but it certainly isn't a big city either. Depending on where you come from it can feel like different things. However, when you're in the Gold Miner Restaurant you're sure to feel like you're in a small town in the early 20th century. Things are a bit slower in there, though the service is still phenomenal. The food is your standard diner/breakfast fare, though the prices are a bit much.
The food was AMAZING and you could get a meal for 2 for under $20! And the service was great!
What an awesome first time experience. 11:30 on a Friday. Had to make the tough decision between breakfast or their all you can eat fish fry for $10! Ended up going with an omelet that had spinach, feta and mushrooms (I’m sure other stuff too), and it was awesome! It came with potatoes and choice of bread. ALWAYS do their homemade biscuit..the best I’ve ever had. Their house coffee is dynamo!!! I went thru 6 refills, granted the small diner styler mugs. Plenty of seating. Clean restrooms. Best part outside of my omelet was the staff. They are seriously the nicest folks, clearly working there because they WANT to be there. Very attentive. Awesome conversations with all that served out table. WiFi and password freely given. Parking is the only thing you might have trouble with as their immediate lot is a little small. Can’t wait to go back for their fish fry!!!
Good food and the red haired waitress Suze wallen one of the best waitress ever
Horrible, not what I was hoping for. All the reviews say great food, great for breakfast. NOT, the food was really bad.
Best corned beef hash in town !
Great service, terrific food and good prices. Nice to have a hometown restaurant like this in Grant's Pass.
Gold miner restaurant is a good place to eat. The food is really good and the people that work there are wonderful. They will take care of you and serve you some good yummy food.
Great food, service, and prices!
Country cooking and southern love what a amazing place a must go to for anyone
Phenomenal homestyle breakfasts, an always cheery staff, and hearty portions at a very reasonable price. This has become a weekly favorite for my family.
First time going to the gold miner restaurant. Food was delicious. Huge meals. Great prices. Outstanding service.
Such good food. Homemade giant cinnamon rolls made fresh every day. You could feed a family of four with them. Everything is great. They do takeout orders, too!
Breakfast was wonderful, excellent friendly service!
I had breakfast at one of my favorites the Gold Miner Restaurant. I'm not complaining about their food but of the treatment I received by one of their waitresses. I watched a male employee walk into the women's bathroom. The men's is only 5 ft. from the women's and no one was using it. I feel unless there is a good reason for it you should stay in your lane. I asked the waitress if something was wring with the men's restroom. She said no. I told her what I saw. She began to belittling me in front of the whole restaurant. Her voice was loud and everyone that was there heard. As if that wasn't bad enough she would keep coming back saying, I'm just trying to understand and then turn her back on me and walk away when I tried to answer. Whether you agree with me or not that's not my issue. My issue is how I was treated. I will not be going back and she needs a class in professionalism and how to treat customers.
Very homey. Family oriented. Food and service awesome.
Lots of attention to Covid rules here. Friendly fast service and well-priced breakfast menu. Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon.
Great place to eat friendly people good prices
Fantastic Food & Service.. Breakfast and Lunch Only.Friday... All You Can Eat Fish FryFrom 11am - 2pmDaily Specials & Great Coffee
Marvelous food and supper service and the greatest people.
Such a friendly place with absolutely delicious food. GIANT CINNAMON ROLLS! Proud to be American! I'd eat here every day if I lived here.
The good: Service was friendly and prompt and overall restaurant appeared relatively clean. My wife liked her avocado, ham and cheese omelet. My hash browns and eggs were good. The bad: Wife's home fries overcooked to brown/black and tasted burned. My chicken fried steak was paper thin with very heavy soggy gross batter. Bacon gravy is never very good but this was really foul tasting. We were seated right in front of the men's restroom door, lots of traffic and bad smells. No one asked us how our food was, did they know?
Hometown feel. Good food. Reasonable prices.Friendly staff.A barbershop quartet sang a song while we were thete last time!Try it, you'll lije it!
